gear 43 MerCruiser 43-59832A2 Upper Unit Gear Set V8 305 350 1.50:1 Alpha One – NLA Marine

• The gears are For All V8 applications for Pre-Alpha/R/MR/ALPHA ONE Gen 1, so 1970-1990 as a general rule.
• (You may need to replace the bearing on top of the shaft depending on whether you have a 1970-1982 vs 1982 & Up application as they each used different bearing sizes)
• ...These were also used on Gen II drives 1991-1997 but you would have to swap out the shafts and bearings...
• The gear set here is MerCruiser 43-59831 & 43-59832 > 43-59832A2 
• This set supersedes to 43-18410 / 43-18411-1 > 43-18411A2 (Also Equivalent to Sierra 18-2202)
• 20-22 (tooth count) 1.50:1 / 1.47:1 Ratio for V8 GM Chevy 5.0L 305 & 5.7L 350 sterndrive engines. (Early Ford as well)
• Driveshaft and other bearings still installed on this.
