Solitare Herbicide is a professional all-in-one post-emergent herbicide designed to control crabgrass, sedges, kyllinga, and broadleaf weeds in a single application. Combining sulfentrazone and quinclorac in a water-dispersible granule formulation, Solitare delivers broad-spectrum turf weed control without the need for multiple tank-mixed herbicides.

Solitare is absorbed by shoots, foliage, and roots to control annual grasses, broadleaf weeds, and perennial sedges in established turfgrass. Labeled for residential lawns, commercial and institutional lawns, athletic fields, commercial sod farms, golf course fairways, and golf course roughs, Solitare is a proven choice for professional turf managers facing mixed weed pressure.

Labeled Use Sites

Residential lawns, commercial lawns, institutional lawns, athletic fields, commercial sod farms, golf course fairways, golf course roughs, and other labeled non-crop turfgrass sites.

Target Weeds

Crabgrass, goosegrass, yellow nutsedge, purple nutsedge, green kyllinga, false green kyllinga, clover, ground ivy, dollarweed, black medic, chickweed, dandelion, henbit, knotweed, kochia, lambsquarters, lespedeza, morningglory, pigweed, plantain, purslane, Florida pusley, smartweed, speedwell, annual spurge, prostrate spurge, spotted spurge, wild violet, woodsorrel, broadleaf signalgrass, foxtail, barnyardgrass, goldenrod, curly dock, lawn burweed, pineappleweed, puncturevine, torpedograss, wild garlic, wild onion, Japanese stiltgrass, Star of Bethlehem, and other labeled turf weeds.

Application Notes

Apply Solitare to established turfgrass shortly after weeds have emerged. Best results are achieved when adequate soil moisture is present at application and no rainfall or irrigation occurs within 24 hours after treatment. If at least 0.5 inch of rainfall or irrigation does not occur within 7 days after application, irrigation is recommended.

Use rates vary by turfgrass species and target weeds. Solitare is labeled for use on Kentucky bluegrass, rough bluegrass, tall fescue, perennial ryegrass, bermudagrass, buffalograss, centipedegrass, seashore paspalum, and zoysiagrass. Do not apply to golf course putting greens, collars, or tees.

A surfactant is generally not recommended because temporary turfgrass discoloration may occur. Do not apply to turfgrass under stress, and do not use clippings as mulch or compost around flowers, ornamentals, trees, or vegetable gardens.

This is the only miss from Naked Sundays so far :(
I normally love naked Sundays. It’s my go to for face sunscreen especially. I’m not sure if I got a defective stick or something. It’s not expired or anything but I used it on a vacation and I got extremely burnt even with reapplying often. I just figured it was fluke thing maybe because it was winter and I was paler than normal. But we went on another vacation last week and my preteen daughter used it on her face and she ended up with a sunburn and rash. She’s never had a sunburn before as she has an olive skin tone. She ended up having to use an antihistamine medication for how bad her skin hurt and cool cloths. Like I said, I LOVE their other products so I’m wondering if I got a defective batch or something.

Works on dark hair, too and lasts for multiple dyes.
I got this because my nephew wanted to have red hair for a day. It works really well. Its super vibrant, even if you have darker colored hair, which is surprising. A little goes a long way, so you can dye your hair several times with just one bottle. It washes out very easily. One wash and its out. Also, it came out of a pillowcase pretty well when he played his head down on the pillow. You have to wait till it ia dry to touch it, or it does your hands a little, but it still does not stain skin.

Happy Halloween 2025
The dye is very pigmented which is a plus I just wished the instructions where more clear on how to apply the dye to your hair. I just regret applying the dye first to my hair and then fixing my hair up. When I passed the hair brush to fix my hair some paint came off. So I had to reapply the dye. Luckily I have a little bit of hair so I was able to have extra dye on the can. So if you're reading this. I recommend fixing up your hair first, pass the brush do what you got to do first. And then once you have your hair the way you want it. Spray the hair dye into your hair. It much easier and your hair doesn't get tangled. But other than that the hair dye was a good purchase for me because the value of it and the pigmentation it came with.

Very messy but nice color
Does work but very very very messy. Will stain clothes and anything that touches hair. Will get on ur skin and all over the area u use to spray. I used it on long black hair did color it red but need 2 bottles and because its a spray the whole room got a misting of red/pink. If your temp dyeing hair for anything try a cream or chalk or something else this wasnt worth it given the huge mess ( wear gloves)
