The all-new ground level irrigation ports

As well as increasing the size and number of all ventilation ports we have added ground-level irrigation ports on the left and right-hand side panels. This new port is the answer we have all been looking for when using floor-based gravity feed systems and pump-fed flood and drain pots. The positioning of the vent will permit the user to utilize either side of your BudBox™ to run pipe-work, both in and out of the tent, through a really neat double cuffed port, it’s a simple solution to the problem.

New Connectors

The whole BudBox™ Pro range is now equipped with steel, push & click fit connectors, which, in addition to the thicker tempered steel poles, provide greater load-bearing strength for all your filters, fans and lighting requirements.

BudBox™ is still the ONLY grow tent that takes the time and care to powder coat our poles and connectors, delivering the best possible anti-corrosion protection and a very clean and reflective look. BudBox™ assembly instructions are in setting out in a clear, concise, easy to follow format, all canvasses are zipped on 3 sides top & bottom, ensuring that erection remains simple & straightforward.

New Sizes

Over the past few years, there have been many improvements in lighting technology and growing systems in various sizes and shapes. We have introduced 2 new sizes to help give you the exact layout you want. The new sizes available are the 1.5x1.5x200(XL plus)) and the 1.5 x 3.0 (XXL plus)

Our philosophy on this subject is and will remain the cornerstone of our success and is not open to negotiation or compromise, WE USE THE BEST THERE IS! All the component parts used in the construction of BudBox™ are sourced, tried & tested and are guaranteed safe for plants and people to use.

Light Proof

One of the most important factors when looking at the material is whether or not it is light proof. When shopping for your grow tent, ask the retailer/shop to test the light fastness, by simply holding a 600watt MH HID 35cm from the material, see if you can see any light passing through, try that with a BudBox™ and we guarantee YOU WON’T see any light, if light is coming out, light is getting in! and as the whole concept of the grow room was founded on controlling your growing environment’s light & dark period, which synthesizes the daily cycle of light & dark your plants need to develop. Plants develop their flowering hormones during the night/blackout period, which if compromised by the slightest bit of light, will be destroyed.

New Frame

The BudBox™ Pro range continues to be based around the growing area principal of 1metre and 1.2metre and now an all-new 1.5 meter squared area, but now has been upgraded! The Pro has a strong tempered 19mm diameter (upgraded from 16mm) pole in our 75 and 100 range, and a 25mm diameter tempered high tensile steel pole for all units ranging from XL (1.2) up to the massive Titans, ensuring you have all the strength that you need in the big tents to hang heavy filters and lighting rigs. The smaller sizes reflect the lighter loads needed.

All new Ventilation

With the advent of more powerful lighting combinations, ventilation has become a real issue with some grow tents, as such, having studied every tent currently available very carefully, we have used this information to make sure that we have the right solution for you. BudBox™ Pro inlet & exhaust ports have been upgraded to enable the use of larger fans and, if required, the use of insulated ducting. The Titan range now has 340mm vents. Each vent and cable port is double-cuffed to prevent light spill both in and out. In addition to increasing the size of the air vents we have added 2 extra vents in the roof and the rear wall panel (in the Titan range) which gives you the option to vent from the front and/or rear, enabling you to position vent fans just where you want them!

Each BudBox™ has a new green viewing window so you can view your crop without disturbing it.

All new inspection doors

The new BudBox™ Pro has multiple inspection hatches, which have been positioned to the rear & side elevations of the Titan range, these doors have been included to enable the most convenient access to the full text, at all times, without having to unzip the whole side, you can now reach right in to tidy up plants or move lights and inspect your crop like never before. The Titan1 and Titan+ models have 2 extra inspection hatches on the sides and the Titan2 and Titan3 have extra hatches on the sides and the back wall.

All new plastic clips to hold doors open

When open, the doors are held open with new clips instead of Velcro, which we feel was a more practical & neater solution.

Zips

As is always with BudBox™ all our tents unzip at the top and bottom, right around 3 sides, this gives you unparalleled access to the plants as well as making assembly easy. The BudBox™ Pro now comes with the addition of extra door flaps in the sides and rear of the Titans, so you now have every entry option you need covering.

The new easy-grip branded zip puller makes opening and closing the tent easy, even with wet fingers.

BudBox™ PAR Testing Results

Light

Let’s talk about light. Your plants need PAR light to grow and flower. PAR is an acronym for Photosynthetic Active Radiation; plants love the blue and red light from 400 to 750nm. Blue light tends to help the plants grow strong leaves and stems and the red part helps with flowering. BudBox™ Pro–White models reflect more PAR than Mylar material and at the same time reduce troublesome hot spots (concentrated heat energy) and, as such, will always the professional’s choice when it comes to horticulture. Not only is the flat white material reflecting more PAR light directly to your plants it reflects less of the overall unused spectrum. With light energy comes heat energy and the Pro-white lining will always run cooler than a standard Mylar tent. The Mylar material will reflect more heat energy, therefore, will run hotter (around 6-8degC) as such, these units require greater ventilation or the use of less powerful lighting, so the environment does not overheat and damage your plants.

BudBox™ Grow Tents offer a class-leading PAR result!

All tests were carried out independently by Photometric and Optical Testing Services, based in Cheltenham.

• Tests were carried out on different samples of reflective material in order to ascertain which one reflected the most Photosynthetically Active Radiation - PAR
• Each sample was illuminated with an illuminant A spotlight and a Radiant Vision Systems I8 photometric camera was used to take an image of the light intensity and distribution
• A Jeti spectrometer was used to calibrate the source for PAR values
• A 600mm spot size on each sample was used to measure the PAR value

A sample from another popular grow tent manufacturer was also tested, alongsideBudBox™ and it's lower PAR result is independent proof that BudBox™ manufactures it's grow tents with material offering class-leading PAR. The better the PAR value, the greater the positive impact on your plants.

As you can see from the image and figures below, our competitor's grow tent is just not as efficient with PAR as we are!
