An easy to grow mixture of 10 colourful annuals, which includes species found in our countryside during the Middle Ages such as borage, cornflowers and flax. This mixture has a blue tone base of cornflowers and echium, with added red-orange contrast provided by flax and marigolds, and lastly a touch of antique pink provided by mallow. Simply open the box, scatter the seeds where you want them to grow, cover and wait for a spectacular display! Height 50-60cm (20-24in).
Net weight of box: 200g, including 15g seeds and 185g of vermiculite as a 'carrier' to help ensure the seed is distributed evenly when sowing
Sowing Instructions:
Scatter packs can be sown directly from the box to your garden soil, without the need pot potting on. Shake well before opening. Direct sow from March to June for flowering in the same year, or September to November for flowering in the following spring and early summer. Prepare the soil in full sun or semi shade, on fertile, well-drained soil. The soil should be dug over and raked to a fine tilth, removing large stones and weeds. Sow seeds by scattering them across the prepared area at a rate of 25-30g per m2 (around 8 tablespoons). Water the ground immediately after sowing and regularly thereafter, until the seed have germinated and young plants are well established.

Dogs love it, but it lasted 10 minutes

Five stars for the dogs both loving this thing. I have a Catahoula/pitbull and a Great Pyrenees/Red Heeler. They absolutely loved this toy but it only lasted about ten minutes before it was pulled apart and losing its innards. They didn’t really care - they each took half and proceeded to tear it to shreds with great joy. Two stars for durability, but since they’re big dogs who are happiest when chewing on things I figure the toy deserves to be rounded up from a three to a four. Small dogs probably would still love it without the strength to yank it apart so quickly.
