About :-
Anthurium species can grow terrestrially or as epiphytes on other plants. The inflorescence, commonly called the flower, consists of a colourful shiny leathery spathe surrounding or subtending a central rodlike spadix that bears numerous tiny bisexual flowers. The leaves are somewhat leathery and variable in shape. It is an epiphytic evergreen tropical perennial of the Arum family that is most noted for its attractive waxy, palette-shaped, bright red spathes and contrasting dark green foliage.

The Odyssey to own
Format: Hardcover
Even if you don't read Greek, you should be able to see what the original looks like alongside of a fine prose translation in English. My Ancient Greek is rusty, so I have found the accuracy of the English version of great help in re-entering this classic of world literature.

Reviers discussing wrong translation
Format: Hardcover
I have read the two earlier reviews. They are concerned with the Fitzgerald translation indicated as the "paperback" version of this edition. However, this edition (the Loeb Classical Library edition) is not by Fitzgerald but by A. T. Murray and is a prose translation as are all Loeb translations of classical poetry. Of course, the Fitzgerald translation is a monumental classic in its own right, but it is not the edition published by Loeb.
