Planting & Care Instructions

  1. Choose a sunny location with at least 6–8 hours of light daily.
  2. Use well-draining soil with a pH of 6.5–6.8; mix in at least 30% sand and rich compost.
  3. Plant plugs at soil level, packing soil firmly around the roots.
  4. Water 1–3 times per week, not daily, to prevent overwatering.
  5. Avoid soaking plants for more than 1 hour before planting.
  6. Pinch off early flowers to encourage root growth — each pinched flower produces two more later.
  7. Expect your first harvest about 12–14 weeks after planting, with berries continuing through the season.
  8. Fertilize only after plants are well established to avoid fertilizer burn.
