The barrel accommodates a 16" diameter plastic planter (included.) The barrel is sanded smooth and sealed with Teak Oil to help preserve the barrel and bring out its character. Hoops are screwed so they won't fall off as the barrel dries. Holes are drilled in the bottom of the barrel to let water escape.
