Known by many names—including Cucuzza Squash, Cucuzzi Gourd, and Italian Gourd—this vigorous edible gourd has been a staple of Italian gardens for generations. Despite its name, Cucuzza isn’t a true squash at all, but rather a member of the bottle gourd family (Lagenaria siceraria). The long, pale-green fruits can easily reach two feet or more, with a tender, mild flavor that shines when sautéed, stewed, or simmered into soups.

In our trials, the vines were nothing short of rampant—healthy, vigorous, and wildly productive, with each hill yielding dozens upon dozens of fruit. The plants can easily stretch 20 feet or more, so be sure to provide a sturdy trellis or ample room to sprawl. Unlike many true squash varieties, Cucuzza seemed completely unbothered by squash vine borers, remaining lush and green long after others succumbed. Harvest the fruits young for the best flavor and texture, or allow them to mature fully if you’d like to dry them for crafts or seed saving.

Abundant, hardy, and uniquely flavorful, Cucuzza Squash is a must-grow for anyone who loves traditional Mediterranean vegetables—or simply enjoys growing something that’s both beautiful and prolific.  Harvests begin approximately 75 days after sowing. Each packet contains a minimum of 15 seeds.

Best of Both Worlds: Plush + Squeaky Ball
Our boy loves plush toys and he loves squeaky balls, so combining the two makes this the perfect toy for him. He enjoys making the ball squeak and carrying it around by the soft plush heads, which is honestly adorable to watch. These toys work great for both our small boys and our big boy, making them a nice option for multi-dog homes. Fun, cute, and keeps everyone entertained — a big win in our house!

Nice toy for dogs but my dog didn't like it
Color: 3 Pack Spiky Balls
It appears quite appealing with its varied colors. My only concern is that my dog did not seem to enjoy it, as it frequently slipped from its mouth when attempting to carry it during play time. While it is soft, but it is not as pliable as some of the other squeaky toys my dog has owned. I think because of the spikes stlyle. This might be an excellent choice for highly active and young dogs. My dog is older and tends to be quite particular about toys.

Loves the ball inside the toy
My dogs love these toys, they especially like when they tear the toy open and they get the ball that’s inside the red sack. They carry the red Sox in that ball around for days before actually tearing the ball out of the sack. If you sold the balls inside the red Sacks, I would buy them. I don’t know why they love it so much but they do all three of my dogs. These are the best priced and best dog toys I have found.

Good news and bad news
Color: Multi-colored
My Westie LOVES these toys. She is obsessed. You need to know, going in, that the squeakers last about 15 minutes and then they are dead. Out of a dozen of these toys, it's happened every time. That's the bad news. The good news is that the toys are light weight and durable enough to endure tug of war. You can toss them in the house with little fear of breaking anything they might hit. The little rubber nubs seem to encourage chewing and our vet says that my dog has beautiful teeth because these toys act as a toothbrush for her. I would say most terriers are active and heavy chewers and so far none of these toys have been destroyed by her chewing. So if your dog will continue to play fetch even though the (beloved) squeaker is dead, these are great toys. Look for the multi packs like this one. The individually sold toys are much more expensive per unit than buying a bag of toys like this offering and the toys are exactly the same.
