Also referred to as the African Spear Plant, the Sansevieria Cylindrica is very different than the majority of its Sansevieria cultivar when it comes to appearance. While most Sansevieria have flat leathery leaves with pointed tips, the Cylindrical Snake boasts more cylindrical leaves with a softer edge.
This a simple houseplant that is extremely low maintenance and is ideal for beginner plant parents. These relaxed houseplants are tolerant of a wide variety of conditions and can survive just about anywhere, even in a space with no sunlight whatsoever. This is the perfect for basements and rooms with north facing windows that have low light conditions!
Some important Snake Plant care tips to note include planting your snake in a well-draining potting mix in a pot with a drainage hole. These plants will happily tolerate drought, but they do not enjoy excess water and soggy soil. Planting your Cylindrical Snake in a succulent or cactus blend that incorporates sandy soil is ideal.
