Water geven

De Hartjesplant in potje houdt van een gelijkmatige bewatering. Geef ongeveer één keer per week water, afhankelijk van de kamertemperatuur en luchtvochtigheid. Laat de bovenste laag grond licht uitdrogen voordat je opnieuw giet. Zorg dat er geen water blijft staan in de pot zodat wortelrot wordt voorkomen.

Lichtbehoefte

Deze Hartjesplant in potje staat het liefst op een plek met fel, indirect licht. Vermijd direct zonlicht, want dat kan de bladeren doen verschroeien. Een plaats dicht bij een raam met een gordijn is ideaal voor een gezonde groei. Ook bij wat minder licht blijft de plant mooi, maar groei kan dan iets langzamer verlopen.

Veelvoorkomende problemen bij de Hartjesplant in potje

Gele bladeren

Gele bladeren zijn vaak een signaal voor te veel of te weinig water. Controleer eerst de bodem: is hij constant nat, dan kan wortelrot ontstaan. Bij te droogte drogen de bladranden in, wat eveneens vergeling veroorzaakt. Pas je gietroutine aan en zorg voor voldoende, maar niet overdadig water.

Plant druppelt

Als er druppels aan de bladeren verschijnen, spreek je van guttatie. Dit is normaal bij planten in een vochtige omgeving en geen reden tot paniek. Zet de Hartjesplant in potje iets verder van een vochtige bron of verlaag de luchtvochtigheid licht. Bij aanhoudende druppels kun je de luchtcirculatie verbeteren met een ventilator op lage stand.

Plagen

Spint, bladluizen en trips zijn de meest voorkomende boosdoeners. Inspecteer regelmatig de onderkant van de bladeren. Wortels komen uit de onderkant

Dit duidt op een plant die toe is aan een grotere pot. Verpot de Hartjesplant in potje naar een iets grotere pot met verse aarde. Gebruik voor aroids, zoals de Hartjesplant, bij voorkeur potgrond voor aroids. Zo krijgen de wortels de ruimte om te groeien en blijft je plant gezond.

Bruine randen op de bladeren

Bruine randen wijzen dikwijls op te lage luchtvochtigheid of te veel direct zonlicht. Verhoog de luchtvochtigheid door een kamerplantensproeier of een luchtbevochtiger. Plaats de plant niet in de felle middagzon en zorg voor indirect licht. Met een constante vochtbalans verschijnen snel weer frisse groene bladeren.

I ordered the loftier version of the pillow and I love it! I'm a side sleeper and I've been having pillow issues over the last few years where I swear every pillow is either too tall, too thin, too soft to provide support, to firm and hurts my ears, or the stuffing is too slick or something and migrates away from wherever I put my head. It's been... A time. But this pillow has been wonderful! I've been using it for a couple weeks now and it's the perfect height for me! The latex inner chamber provides some much needed support, but the softer outer chamber gives me enough cushion to keep my ears from aching. I will say that, while this is the perfect height for me, personally, I think that if you're someone who prefers a pretty lofty pillow, that this might not be tall enough for you. I ordered the taller version, and it feels right for me, but I've noticed in my pillow buying extravaganza that even pillows that everyone else loves that are designed for side sleepers are usually just too tall for me. So if this pillow is right for me, and you prefer a pretty lofty pillow, I really bet that this won't be tall enough in that case. It's definitely more of a medium loft, rather than a very high loft

I have to testify about this pillow, my brothers and sisters. Ever since I hit my 30s, my body has gone down. Aches and pains. Pops. Crackles. Snaps. It’s ridiculous. The first night I immediately noticed I got more consecutive hours of sleep than I had in weeks. A week later and my shoulder is pain free. I could’ve cried. The height of this pillow stabilizes my neck and shoulders perfectly. It is firm, but gives and contours to your neck and head. It’s a heavy pillow but I don’t even care. Truly I don’t think I’ll ever go back. This pillow has saved my shoulder and I’ll never stop thanking God for it. If you’re experiencing back, shoulder, or neck pain and are considering this pillow, just order it. Please. Just do it. I’m forever changed. But I’m still keeping 20 year old pillow… just for sentimental purposes. 😂

Amazing. The Perfect Pillow for Side Sleepers with neck pain!

I do have to update my experience. This still is a very comfortable pillow, it's just I can't sleep with it under my head (it's now my hug pillow). After using for 2 weeks, I developed severe neck spasms. Pillows are very individulized and as it turns out, I probably need a firmer pillow than this "highly" comfortable pillow can offer. Will NOT change my rating. Wow! I'm impressed with this pillow so far. I'm a side sleeper mostly but chose the medium-high loft 6.2" as recommended which was the perfect height. I didn't see any taller options but this has turned out just right. I did hours of research before chosing this product, which turned out to be advantageous. It's not as cooling as my old memory foam pillow with the gel layer but it stays cool long enough that I don't have to move the pillow around to be comfortable before falling asleep. It's surprising lightweight. I like it much more than any memory foam I've ever had. The best news was that within a few days my headaches and neck pain have improved by 80%. I am really very impressed with the quality of this pillow. It is softer than I anticipated but still firm enough to keep my head elevated giving me perfect spine alignment and great support. It truly is the MOST COMFORTABLE supportive Pillow I have ever slept on! The smell is only minor at It's worst and has nearly disappeared after just 4 days. It is a mild latex smell but definitely NOT petroleum. It's in the moderate price range at ~$100 and worth every cent. High value for the price. I really really like this pillow and highly recommend it. Big fan! Might irder a 2nd as a backup if it doesn't last but it's so well made I feel that won't be a problem.
