Origin

The Monstera siltepecana grows naturally in the humid forests from Mexico to Panama. When young, it crawls along the forest floor, but once it finds something to climb up against, its growth habit changes. This variegated form is the result of a rare mutation and does not occur in the wild.

Characteristics

This plant is loved for its unique combination of leaf color, texture and growth form. The leaves are oblong to oval, with a silver-gray undertone and a net-like vein texture. Variegation varies by leaf and plant: some leaves are lightly speckled, others almost half white. Care

Light

Temperature

Substrate
