How Does Bispyribac Sodium Work?
Bispyribac Sodium is a systemic ALS inhibitor (HRAC Group B). It works in 4 steps:
- Foliar + root absorption: Enters weeds through leaves and roots within minutes of spraying
- Systemic translocation: Moves through the plant's xylem and phloem to growing points
- Blocks ALS enzyme: Inhibits Acetolactate Synthase enzyme — without this enzyme, the weed cannot make essential branched-chain amino acids (leucine, isoleucine, valine)
- Growth stoppage and death: Weed growth stops within 24 to 48 hours; full death in 10 to 14 days
Rice plants are naturally resistant to Bispyribac Sodium because of their internal detoxification capacity. That is why this herbicide kills the weeds without harming the rice crop.
Important Precautions & Compatibility:
- Do not spray on submerged weeds drain field 24 hours before application.
- Do not mix with 2,4-D, MCPA, or other phenoxy herbicides in the same tank incompatible.
- Maintain 4 to 7 day gap between Bispyribac and other ALS inhibitor herbicides (like Pyrazosulfuron) to avoid stunting.
- Do not apply if rice is under stress (drought, disease, fertilizer burn, pest damage).
- Compatible with most insecticides and fungicides do a small jar test before tank-mixing.

These are the best sticks ever!
Our dogs chew and slobber all over these for sometimes an hour at a time. They like the “give” texture when they chew it. Imagine an indestructible, gummy bear!
Because of their softness, they don’t end up with sharp edges or texture, although they are sturdy, and very durable. We have had these for our two dogs for close to a month now and it is their go to indoor to stick. The gentle squeak is not loud and obnoxious, but a playful sound that has them coming back for more with each chomp! If you love your dogs, this is the cheese stick for them.
He’s also make an excellent fetch stick as they can go inside or outside. They wash off easily with water.
This is a great investment, especially if you’ve been wasting your money replacing toys for strong jawed dogs!

New favorite toy!
I’ve bought this toy in the past and it lasted a long time. Yes, eventually Tigger did tear it apart (took a very long time) which is why I ordered him a new one. I love that this toy is perfect size for my 10lb Maltipoo. It’s not super hard like other ones I’ve bought in the past. Easy to wash once too much slobber has gotten on it. Just wash it by hand. It squeaks a lot which just takes getting used to if you love your pup having fun with it lol.
