Its narrow leaves twist and curl as they grow, giving the plant a lively, informal shape that sets it apart from the straight-leaved varieties. Each leaf is striped with a central band of cream against a bright green margin, and mature plants produce long, arching stolons tipped with miniature plantlets that cascade over the edge of the pot. It is one of the most cheerful and easy-going houseplants available: fast-growing, forgiving, and happy in a wide range of indoor conditions. 

Origins
Chlorophytum comosum is native to the tropical and subtropical regions of southern and eastern Africa, where it grows as an evergreen perennial in forest margins, rocky outcrops, and riverbanks.

Soil and Substrate
Chlorophytum comosum 'Bonnie' is not fussy about substrate, but it performs best in a well-draining, general-purpose mix that does not hold excessive moisture. I got these Robeez toddler sport sandals for my little one and honestly, they’ve been pretty great overall. The first thing I noticed is how lightweight they are—they don’t seem bulky or heavy at all, which is perfect because my toddler is constantly on the move. They run around, climb, and play hard, and these sandals have held up really well so far. They feel durable enough to handle everyday wear without looking worn out after just a few uses. Another big plus for me is how easy they are to put on and take off. If you have a toddler, you already know how much of a struggle shoes can be sometimes, so anything that saves time is a win. These slip on pretty easily, which makes getting out the door a lot less stressful. That said, the sizing was a little off for us. I ordered my child’s usual size, but they do seem to run a bit big. There’s more room than I expected, so they’re not as snug of a fit right now. It’s not a huge issue since they can still wear them, but I probably could have sized down for a better fit. Overall, I still really like these sandals. They’re comfortable, practical, and hold up well for everyday use. Just keep the sizing in mind when ordering!

Great sandals

I got these shoes for my 3-year-old. They are a good summer shoe that look good for everyday wear. I like that both straps are adjustable to help them to be more form-fitting to the foot. I like that the back ankle strap is *not* adjustable, because I don't feel the need for that one to be adjustable and also it's just kind of annoying because it's an extra thing that can potentially become undone. The whole shoe is foam including the uppers. One concern I have is that the sole is more slick than rubbery, so I'm concerned about these being slippery, especially with all of the summer activities that involve water. The footbed of the shoe has a bit of texture and seems comfortable. I appreciate that the sole bends easily to make them healthy for little feet that need to flex. These seem easy to clean, you could probably wash them in the washing machine, though I didn't see that anywhere so I don't know for sure. Overall, I find these to be high quality sandals and they are flexible for outdoor/wet situations as well as indoors.
