Growing Tips

The "Chicks" in this listing are unrooted, or have minimal root systems. Rooting is very easy! Place the chick on the surface of a damp (not soaking wet), well-drained potting media in a warm location and they will root out in a couple of weeks. This can also be done directly in the garden, provided means are taken to prevent the chicks from blowing away until rooted. Although they will grow nearly anywhere, these prefer well-drained conditions. Divide clumps when plantings get overcrowded.
