Originating from Holland, 'Purple Dancer' is a captivating hybrid from the renowned Schlumbergera Truncata Dancer Series, celebrated for its resilience and prolific flowering. It thrives in both outdoor partially shaded positions and sunny indoor spots. To ensure optimal blooming and prevent leggy growth, it's crucial to provide bright, filtered light with short days and long, cool nights, ideally around 11-13 hours of darkness.

Despite being a cactus, overwatering can lead to rot, so it's essential to let the soil dry on top before watering again. Use a well-drained cactus or succulent potting mix and apply a light water-soluble fertilizer in early spring and late summer to promote blooms.
