The Haworthia Zebra succulent, also known as the Haworthia Fasciata is a very well known and popular succulent. It's actually known as one of the easiest succulents to grow and care for, a great beginner succulent to grow! It has very unique think green leaves with white edges, making this succulent look like a zebra.

 

You can grow the Haworthia Zebra indoors or outdoors, your choice. You can also grow this succulent in any location outdoors just as long as the weather is warm and suitable for growing succulents. This succulent isn't cold hardy, so make sure to move and grow it indoors during the cold winter season. We recommend moving this succulent indoors once the weather hits under 30 degrees. I bought this because every sunblock I own eventually gets in my eyes and burns the living daylights out of them. I prefer to use something that isn't laden with chemicals, is cruelty free and reef safe so this looked like it would fit the bill and indeed, it does. It is a true "no tears" formula which I very much appreciate. As with so many zinc based sunblocks there's still a slight "Kabuki mask" effect but it isn't as bad as some of the other zinc products. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's easy to spread because it doesn't have a lot of "slip", doesn't glide like the non-zinc products. You do have to work with it for awhile to get rid of the decidedly chalky consistency but once you get going it seems to be okay. I think somebody else mentioned using a moisturizer before you put it on which seems like good idea even though this is supposed to be moisturizing. Would I purchase this again? I'm pretty sure I will because the "no tears" aspect of the product is important to me. I'll probably use it with a light carrier oil on my face first, let that oil sink in and then put this on top. I have the most sensitive reactive skin. I regularly will breakout to products that are supposed to be hypoallergenic and non-clogging.
