This book not only clarifies how the current government of Iran thinks and operates but also why it does what it does. Decisions are made for pragmatic and historical reasons and until the Western governments understand what the issues are, they will not be able to find a path forward that does not include violence, war, and mass casualties. During these times that you have ignorant American Senators that push for war on behalf of a foreign government and don't know the most basic facts about Iran, I wish every American and European politician would read this book before uttering another word.
