Actually feels cool at night

I’ve been using these for several days now and I did notice a difference. I tend to get hot while sleeping, so I was curious if they would actually help, and they do feel cool when you lay on them. I also like that they’re soft and comfortable, not that weird texture some “cooling” products have. So far, I’ve been really happy with them.

Soft, great quality, simple pillowcases

I love these! I kind of can’t believe I bought them at such a steal! They are thicker, not the super thin that so many are these days. They are also generously sized, not narrow like some of the brands I’ve tried. Smooth, breathable fabric, well-sewn. I took off a star because they do really wrinkle and I’m not one to iron bedding. 😃

The Solid Upgrade for Any Bedroom

If you're ready to ditch the thin, synthetic feel of microfiber, the Amazon Basics 400 Thread Count Cotton Pillowcases are a fantastic 5-star step up. Made from 100% cotton, these cases have that classic, substantial feel that only natural fibers can provide. The sateen weave gives them a very subtle, lustrous sheen and a smooth finish that feels much more expensive than it actually is. In the Navy color, they look rich and sophisticated, holding their depth even after a few trips through the laundry.
The performance is exactly what you’d expect from high-quality cotton. They are naturally breathable, making them a great choice if you tend to get a little warm at night. Unlike polyester blends that trap heat, these stay relatively cool and crisp. The 400 thread count is the perfect middle ground—it's dense enough to feel durable and soft against your skin, but not so thick that the fabric becomes stiff or heavy. They are also OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, which gives you peace of mind knowing they’ve been tested for harmful substances.
One thing to keep in mind with 100% cotton is that it will wrinkle, but these are surprisingly resilient if you pull them out of the dryer while they're still a bit warm.
