Temperature: 18°C to 27°C. They are sensitive to cold drafts and temperatures below 13°C, keep away from windows with draft.

Humidity: Prefer higher humidity levels. During winter use a humidifier or place a shallow tray filled with water and pebbles under the plant.

Watering: Water your plant when the top inch (2.5 cm) of the soil feels dry to the touch. Avoid over watering as it can lead to root rot. use our moisture meter to take the guesswork out.

Potting mix: Use a well-draining potting mix like our Fafard potting soil when repotting.

Pot size: Prefer to be slightly root-bound, don't repot unless the roots are starting to come out of the drainage holes of the pot. Choose a pot that is no more than 5 cm larger than the current one.

Fertilization: Feed your anthurium with a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser We recommend our Sultz 10-15-10 every 2-4 weeks to help promote blooming.
