- Cyrtostachys renda, commonly called lipstick palm or sealing wax palm, is a tropical palm that is native to swampy rain forest areas of the Malaysian peninsula, Indonesia and Borneo. It is perhaps best known for its glossy scarlet red crown shafts and leaf stalks which bring stunning accent and contrast to landscapes or indoor areas.
- Common names are in reference to the red coloration. In the wild, this palm will grow to 12-15’ tall. Pinnate leaves to 4-5’ long are deep green above and gray-green underneath. Small greenish white flowers in panicles bloom in summer.

Really helps with the redness
Years ago, my dermatologist recommended this line whenever I had a problem with redness. The redness occurs when I spend time outside, even with sunscreen & a hat. When I perspire it irritates my skin & poof, redness. I started using this, once I found it on Amazon, & this really helps to relieve the pain, discomfort & burning sensation. It has a cooling affect on your skin. Until I found this brand I simply suffered until the irritated skin healed. I apply this at night, especially after being outside & sweating & the redness is gone in the morning. I plan to use this until I no longer need it.

Runny
Doesn't flare up my rosacea but does not reduce redness either. Less moisturizing and runnier than Antirougeurs FORT, which appears to be discontinued. Also dislike the bulky packaging. The squeeze tube took up less space in my travel bag.

Doesn’t really help with redness. Has an oat smell that isn’t very pleasant. Nice moisturizer that isn’t sticky. Not worth the price.
