Blue Tuscan Rosemary is a fragrant, evergreen shrub with deep green needle-like foliage and striking blue flowers that bloom beautifully from spring through summer. There's nothing like stepping outside and snipping a few fresh sprigs of fragrant rosemary straight from the garden—it's fresher, more flavorful, and always on hand when you're cooking. Growing up to 3–4 feet tall and wide, it makes a stunning addition to both herb gardens and ornamental landscapes. It’s a hardy, low-maintenance herb that thrives in sunny spots, even in poor soil, making it perfect for beginners and busy gardeners alike. Rosemary adds a lovely evergreen presence to the garden year-round, plus its blue blooms attract pollinators like bees and butterflies. Beyond the kitchen, it can be used for homemade beauty products, natural air fresheners, or as a calming addition to teas and baths. With its drought tolerance, low maintenance needs, and year-round greenery, this rosemary variety is both a practical and picturesque favorite. Its upright, bushy form also makes it ideal for informal hedging or as a standout centerpiece in sunny garden spots.

Planting Instructions:

Soil Preparation:

Choose an area with heavy, well-draining soil that receives at least 6 hours of sunlight each day. Remove weeds, large rocks, and litter from the planting area. Leave small weeds and dead grass, they will enrich the soil when turned under. Spade or till the soil 8-12 inches deep. Loosening the soil will help the plant establish strong roots.

Plants grow best in soil with lots of organic matter. You may optionally add fertilizer or organic material such as compost, leaves, or rotted hay to mix into the soil at this point. For small gardens, scatter 2-3 tablespoons of fertilizer evenly and work into the top 2-3 inches of soil for each hill or 2 foot by 2 foot planting area. For larger gardens, scatter 2-3 pounds of a complete fertilizer for each 100 square feet of planting area. Work fertilizer or organic material into the soil and leave the surface smooth.

Form rows of soil beds 4-6 inches high and at least 2-3 feet apart. This formation of ridges will help with drainage.

Planting:

Plant Rosemary in the spring when the soil temperature is at least 60F, about 2-4 weeks after the last frost in spring.

Starting Indoors: For an earlier harvest, you may optionally start planting indoors in containers 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost date in Spring, keeping seedlings at least 60F. Harden off then transplant seedlings outdoors in a sunny location when the soil temperature is reliably above 60F. To transplant seedlings, prepare a transplant hole outdoors in a sunny location. Remove the plants carefully from the pots or flats and set them in the holes, burying some of the stem in the ground. Pack the soil loosely around the plant and leave a slightly sunken area around each plant to hold water. Water the plants after transplanting.

Directly Sowing: If directly sowing outdoors, plant in spring when the soil warms to at least 60F. For fall crops, direct sow seeds outdoors 8 weeks before the first frost.

To plant, make holes 1/4 inch deep and spaced 1-2 feet apart down the rows of raised beds. Plant 2-3 seeds per hole. If choosing to thin to the strongest plant, determine the strongest and healthiest plant, then remove all other plants, narrowing to a single plant per hole. Cover seeds thinly with soil and water after planting.

Planting Depth: 1/4 inch
Within-Row Spacing: 1-2 feet
Between-Row Spacing: 2-3 feet

Care During the Season:

Watering: Water the plants deeply, soaking the soil to a depth of 6-8 inches, once a week. If there is no rainfall, water 2-3 times a week. Sandy soils may need to be watered more often than heavy clay soils.

Weeding: Keeping plants weed-free improves production. If plowing or hoeing, do not dig to deeply to prevent from cutting the feeder roots.

Fertilizing: Sage does not require frequent fertilization. If plants are smaller than expected, you may optionally apply a light dressing of a complete fertilizer, without letting the fertilizer touch the plants. Water plants after fertilizing.

Insecticides: Insecticides may be used to protect plants. Bt-based insecticides and sulfur are organic options that can be used for prevention. Sulfur also has fungicidal properties and helps in controlling many diseases. Before using a pesticide, read the label and follow cautions, warnings and directions.

Diseases: If spots or mold appear, treat plants with an approved fungicide. Neem oil, sulfur, and other fungicides may be used. When using fungicides always follow label directions.

Harvesting:

Rosemary can be harvested once the plant is established and has grown enough to produce abundant leaves, usually a few months after planting. The best time to harvest Rosemary is just before the plant begins to flower, as the leaves will be most flavorful then. To harvest, use sharp scissors or pruning shears to snip off sprigs, cutting just above a set of leaves to encourage new growth. You can harvest small amounts regularly throughout the growing season, taking care not to remove more than one-third of the plant at a time to avoid stressing it. If you need to harvest larger quantities, consider cutting back the entire plant near the base, but leave enough foliage for the plant to recover. Rosemary can be used fresh or dried; to dry it, hang the sprigs upside down in a cool, dry place, or use a dehydrator.

Good but Installation was a Bit Iffy
Model: iPad A16 11th/10th/Air 11
90% of the time I use my iPad for school. Originally, I used just a regular screen protector, but it would get dirty with smudges and imprints from my Apple Pencil, and there would be a lot of glare since I'm in a classroom most of the time, which would make it awkward to see what I was writing at times. Plus, the screen protector was too smooth so it would actually be difficult to write legibly. This product makes it a lot easier to write smoother on the iPad. I only just installed it, so I can't say much on the smear protection yet, but I can already see the reduction in glare as well. For $8, getting a pack of two of these with an install kit is a very nice deal imo. My only issue was the installation process, which could've been as much my own fault tbh, but I felt like I aligned the screen protector pretty well with the sticker, however the first time I tried installing it it was way off the center (maybe my case got in the way?). The biggest issue was using the squeegee to pop air bubbles, and this is something they don't mention in neither their instruction guide nor video, but you're supposed to used the velvet red side, not the naked white side: using the white side actually takes the grit off the protector, which is obviously something you don't want on a product that relies on it. Thankfully I have another one in reserve in case this one wears off sooner than expected.

Perfect Paperlike substitute
Model: iPad Air/Pro 13
I’ve been using this screen for roughly two months now and I can say it was so worth it, it is rough on plastic nibs! I am going to order some heavier duty ones and see how it fairs! It works just fine ON TOP of a screen protector isn’t that great! I wanted something like paper like but didn’t want to pay that expensive price for something I wasn’t sure I was going to like. This one does the trick and gives me just enough resistance to feel more in control of my pen! It fits well just make sure to know the size if your screen I had to modify where the camera indent was but it cut just fine and looks great!

Feels like paper and makes writing fun!
Model: iPad A16 11th/10th/Air 11
I was hesitant to start using my iPad for class because I HATED how my Apple Pencil sounded hitting the screen while I was writing. This product has completely changed my mind and now I use it almost daily! I love the feel of this screen and it has lasted all semester long. It was a little tricky getting the screen on just right, and I had to use both because the first time I had a bunch of air bubbles, but the second time was perfect! I think you would probably want to get a new screen every year to ensure it still has that paper-like feel, but I think that’s totally reasonable!

It gets the job done.
Model: iPad 9th/8th/7th, Model: iPad 9th/8th/7th
It isn't too difficult to install, but no matter how hard i tried, I still got some bubbles under the screen. It doesn't feel exactly like writing on paper, but it is much more comfortable than writing on the glossy screen. After i did some writing on the screen, the screen got sime marks that looked like scratches, but it seems to be some kind of dust that comes off the scree, i wiped it off and it disappeared. Now everything on the screen looks pixelated.
