Fraisiers remontants à fleurs roses Toscana : un fraisier utile et décoratif

Ces plants de Fragaria x ananassa toscana associent une floraison rose de mai à septembre et des fraises rouges à récolter de juin à octobre. Leur intérêt tient à cette double présence au jardin : des fleurs mellifères, puis des fruits sucrés, agréables à déguster frais, en salade ou en dessert simple.

Dans la gamme Fraisiers, ce fraisier à fleurs roses convient bien aux petits espaces. Son port compact, légèrement étalé avec quelques stolons, atteint environ 30 cm de haut pour 30 à 40 cm de large.

Installez-le en plein soleil, dans une terre de jardin fraîche, drainante et enrichie en compost mûr. Il réussit en massif, bordure, bac, jardinière ou pot profond, et trouve aussi sa place parmi les Fruitiers Arbres et arbustes pour créer une zone de récolte accessible.

  • Plantez de mars à mai, collet au niveau du sol, sans l’enterrer.
  • Espacez les plants de 30 à 40 cm pour laisser circuler l’air.
  • Arrosez au pied après plantation, puis gardez le sol frais sans excès d’eau.
  • Paillez dès le printemps pour limiter les éclaboussures et garder des fruits propres.

    Au printemps, supprimez les feuilles abîmées et apportez un peu de compost. En été, arrosez modérément mais régulièrement, surtout en pot. En automne, retirez les fruits oubliés et les stolons en excès si vous souhaitez garder des pieds vigoureux.

    Son feuillage vert denté est souvent semi-persistant en climat doux, mais peut se réduire après de fortes gelées. La souche résiste jusqu’à environ -16 °C en sol drainé ; en bac, protégez le contenant lors des froids durables.

    Fraise Toscana : évolution, récolte et points de vigilance

    La première année, les plants s’installent et donnent déjà quelques fruits. La production devient plus régulière la deuxième saison, puis les pieds gagnent à être renouvelés après trois ans pour garder une bonne vigueur.

    Ce fraisier remontant montre une bonne résistance aux maladies courantes si le feuillage sèche vite après la pluie. Surveillez toutefois limaces, excès d’humidité et sécheresse prolongée : les oublis courts sont tolérés, mais une terre trop sèche réduit la floraison et le calibre des fraises.

    Real leather, soft and lightweight

    This medium sized leather tote bag is well made, with tight stitching; heavy duty, gunmetal colored hardware; and a thick, dark gray fabric lining on the inside. There are 2 short, rounded handles that do not fold down, and a narrow, flat, detachable crossbody strap that can be adjusted in length. The style is simple and classic, with a hand-dyed brown finish that will go well with most outfits. It's versatile, being suitable for work or everyday use. It can carry a small laptop or tablet, along with other essential items. There are no outside pockets, but inside there are several. The central compartment is spacious, with 2 slip pockets on one side. There are also 2 zippered pockets, with a large open pocket separating them. The top of the bag has a full, metal zipper that seems good quality. This bag is very attractive as well as functional, and though the leather feels lightweight the bag seems durable. Its listed price is a little high for my budget, but a coupon offer currently makes it a good value. I was very surprised that there is no logo or branding of any kind visible on the outside of this bag, and only one name label stitched to a pocket on the inside. Many bags I see have prominent names, symbols, or initials on the outside, and sometimes all over the inside lining as well. The simplicity of this bag is a refreshing change as it lets the quality speak for itself. I like it!

    Great bag

    This is a wonderful leather bag. It can be carried by handles or worn crossbody. It fits my 13" MacBook Pro perfectly though it doesn't have any particular padding to protect a laptop. I have a couple of nitpicks though for a bag that costs $98. 1/It's a shame that the handles can't lay down or disappear in some way when not in use. They just look a little goofy when you wear the bag across your body. And 2/the stitching is a little weird. The exterior shows the stitching for the inside pocket and I don't know that it's necessary. All in all it's a good bag but if I could return it I would consider doing so because of the way the handles stick up when worn crossbody. I do think, ultimately that's a dealbreaker for me.
