Anthurium andreanum ‘Delicata’ is een indrukwekkende tropische plant, gewaardeerd om zijn spectaculaire bloemen en weelderig blad. Met een elegante en moderne uitstraling brengt deze soort Anthurium een extra vleugje frisheid en stijl in elke binnenruimte.
Verzorging:
- Licht: Geeft de voorkeur aan indirect licht, een lichte plek. Kan ook halfschaduw verdragen, maar bloei zal rijker zijn bij voldoende licht. Vermijd directe zonnestraling, die de bladeren kan verbranden.
- Grond: Geeft de voorkeur aan goed doorlatende grond, rijk aan organisch materiaal. Een mengsel van potgrond met perliet en veenmos is ideaal om de nodige afwatering te garanderen.
- Water geven: Water regelmatig, de grond gelijkmatig vochtig houden, maar niet doorweekt. Laat de grond licht opdrogen tussen de gietbeurten om wortelrot te voorkomen. In de winter iets minder water geven.
- Luchtvochtigheid: Anthurium geeft de voorkeur aan een hoge luchtvochtigheid. Regelmatig de bladeren besproeien of het gebruik van een luchtbevochtiger kan nuttig zijn, vooral in de wintermaanden.
- Temperatuur: De plant groeit het beste bij temperaturen tussen 18-25°C. Vermijd temperaturen onder 15°C en bescherm de plant tegen koude tocht.
- Bemesting: Bemest de plant eenmaal per maand tijdens de groeiperiode (lente en zomer) met een uitgebalanceerde vloeibare meststof voor kamerplanten. Verminder de bemesting in de herfst en winter.
- Voortplanting: Anthurium vermeerdert zich door het scheuren van de kluit of door stekken van de stengel. Scheuren gaat het beste in het voorjaar.
- Veelvoorkomende problemen: De plant kan worden aangetast door plagen zoals rode spintmijten, bladluizen en wolluis. Controleer de plant regelmatig en behandel indien nodig met geschikte insecticiden. Overbewatering kan leiden tot wortelrot en schimmelvorming.

Turning One Big Room into Two

My apartment is basically one big open space, so my living room, dining table, and “office” used to all blend together. After I got this screen, the whole layout finally makes sense. I set it up in the middle and now I have a clear work side and a chill side, and my background for video calls looks way more professional. This divider is a fixed style, so when you set it down it forms a nice straight line. Visually it really feels like a light, mini wall, which is perfect for breaking up a large area. It’s tall and long enough that it actually blocks what you want to hide, so you get real privacy, not just a decorative panel. The woven texture looks nice up close and doesn’t feel cheap, and the color is easy to match with other furniture.
