About the Monstera & Philodendron Soil Mix:
This blend combines the perfect levels of chunky aeration with medium moisture retention. Our Coarse elements of Bark, Zeolite, Lava Rock and Perlite mean there are plenty of air chambers in the mix perfectly suited to the medium/thick roots of Monstera and Philodendron. As tropical plants they do prefer medium moisture retention in our homes, meaning the mix will stay lightly moist for about a little over a week, and will slowly dry off to allow your plant time to get used to a short dry period before re-watering.

What Monstera and Philodendron want from their soil mix:
The one important rule for a Monstera and Philodendron soil mix, is that they want a chunky mix. A good soil for these plants provides plenty of aggregate and bark for roots to crawl around as they grow. The mixture should retain moisture evenly throughout the pot and dry out steadily in a medium period of time (1.5 - 2 weeks) whilst also being very well draining. These plants like moisture but not muddy soil. The aggregates in our blend helps to create a loose mix which avoids dense soil conditions, which is likely to lead to root rot. Monstera and Philodendron also do not mind being left in dry substrates for medium amounts of time (1 - 1.5 weeks in bone dry soil). However if left for too long in dry soil their roots can wilt and become non-functional,  increasing risk of root rot after the next watering. As Monstera and Philodendron are very susceptible to root rot, we have provided multiple levels of protection against accidentally overwatering. 

As with all of our Premium mixes a population of positive bacteria, mycelium and microfauna is present in the substrate to create the potted ecosystem which keeps your plant healthy! Enough nutrients for the first 2 months of growth is also in every bag along with our specialist nutrient storage component, Zeolite.

I bought this AmazingSpark soundproof room divider panel because I work from home and needed a way to separate my workspace from the rest of the room — and honestly, it’s been such a great solution. The 48" x 10' size is big enough to create a true sense of separation, and the foldable design makes it easy to move around or tuck away when I’m done working. I use it mostly in my home office, but I’ve also tried it in our guest room when I needed a little quiet space to focus, and it worked perfectly. The first thing I noticed was how sturdy and well-made it feels. The fabric panels are thick and tightly stretched, and the frame has a solid feel without being too heavy to move. I really like that it comes with straps and a stand, so it stays put even if you have pets or kids running around. The neutral grey color blends nicely into any space — it looks sleek and professional but still warm enough to fit in a home environment. As for soundproofing, it’s not total silence (no panel really is), but it makes a big difference. It does a great job of dampening echo and blocking background noise, especially when I’m on calls or recording audio. It’s been a huge improvement compared to the open room I had before. I even noticed my space feels cozier and less “echoey” during Zoom meetings. Setting it up was straightforward — it took me about 15 minutes by myself. The panels fold like an accordion, so you can easily adjust how much space you want to block off, and it’s easy to collapse and store when you don’t need it. The handles and lightweight construction make moving it from one room to another surprisingly easy for its size. One little thing to note: if you have hardwood floors, it helps to put something soft underneath the stand to prevent sliding when you bump it. The AmazingSpark Soundproof room divider panel has been a fantastic addition to my classroom. Its sound-absorbing design noticeably reduces noise, which makes small group instruction, testing sessions, and independent work time much more manageable. The panel is lightweight yet sturdy. The included stand and straps keep it securely in place. I appreciate how easily it folds - setup and storage take only a minute, which is perfect for transitioning from one activity to another. The grey color looks clean and professional, and I can use push-pins to hang displays on the board. The divider delivers exactly what teachers need: privacy, noise reduction, flexibility, and durability. The noise reduction feature has been beneficial in my classroom when students are recording projects. While the class is working quietly on other activities, a small group can move to the opposite side of the panel and record their audio files. Easy To Use

Panel measures 48x6 and is super easy to install/put up. It's made of a soft thick material that has an accordion shape style/design and stands up nicely wherever you put it. Quality of the material is good- it's light, easy to use and can be moved with ease. It's also sturdy for being soft and does the job if you're looking for a room divider if this size. The height is shorter than the standard style divider but serves the purpose. Says it has 'soundproof properties'- may absorb some noise but you can still hear. I'd recommend it if you're looking for this style of partition wall for privacy. Noise factor not sure but the material it's made of looks like it should absorb some noise. Moreso recommended for the function, separation and quality.

A Game-Changer for Focus and Privacy!

I was excited to try out this Soundproof Room Divider Panel, and it has genuinely exceeded my expectations!
