The annual species included will bring a burst of colour in the first year, while the perennials will begin to bloom from year two and return year after year.

Wet and moisture retentive soils support only particular wildflower species which thrive in damp areas. Other wildflower species found more commonly in well drained soils would not grow in wet areas due to soil composition and fertility levels.

This wetland wildflower seed mix is designed to take advantage of soils with damp attributes and provide a long-lasting, flower rich display to thrive and colonise in damp areas.

Unique and uncommon Irish native wildflowers such as Ragged Robin, Goats beard and Saw wort are just to name a few of the wonderful wildflower species included in this wildflower mixture.
