It is relatively cold-hardy and shade-tolerant, with some tolerance to waterlogging and barren soil, but it grows best in well-drained, fertile, loose soils in sunny, wind-sheltered locations. When planting, provide walls, trellises, or other supports to accommodate its climbing habit. It grows rapidly and has a long lifespan. Spring and autumn are the best planting seasons, but note that 2–3 years of care are needed before it reaches full bloom. Lackluster

It does what it’s supposed to but only for a couple of cans before it dies. I’ve learned that I have to charge it before I put it away or it’s dead when I need it next and that’s after 2-3 cans. It’s small and fits in my drawer nice, does what it’s supposed to, just a little disappointed in how long it lasts
