Installation
It does not matter what car you drive, our Maxi-Cosi RodiFix AirProtect® will fit if your car has ISOFIX. For a secure fit your child seat is attached with your car’s seat belt and ISOFIX. To install, place RodiFix AirProtect® on the back seat of your car, connect the child seat to your car’s ISOFIX connectors, and buckle up with the seat belt. That’s it! installation is complete. Did you know that the ISOFIX connection makes the child seat more stable? Also, when your little one is not sitting in the child seat, it becomes more stable. Because many cars have ISOFIX nowadays, your car will probably have it as well. External crash test centres, such as the German automobile organisation ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club), test our Maxi-Cosi car seats on dynamic safety and ease of use. Great product
Fits our 2012 X5d perfectly. Do yourself a favor and youtube the process for replacing these. You'll see it's well worth doing yourself rather than paying a shop that charges a BMW premium on everything.
Also something I learned recently... this is a low cost high charge item at the mechanic. A lot of times when they suggest replacing these it's because they just tick the box and don't actually look at them. We had our mechanic admit this on a recent service where it was suggested to replace, when we had just done it ourselves in April.

Perfect fit for our 2018 X5 35D
Perfect fit. Never replaced a filter in this car before and took me only 13 minutes. I timed it lol.
That includes taking some before and after pictures from the old and new filter.
What is worth mentioning is that the car was until now under the “fake maintenance” from BMW that comes with a new car and goes until 36.000 miles.
Up to this mileage there is no other service the. The oil changes (3) due. The first real checkup is at a higher mileage and not covered anymore.
Anyway , those filters where replaced before from a BMW dealership. When I compare the new filters and the filters I took out of the car they look the same.
I was expecting to find some BMW marks on the installed filter but perhaps they don’t put their name in it anymore??? Or it could be they also put “after market” parts in.
Anyway, BMW quoted me in all seriousness 700 dollar to replace those filters and the Inside filter
The inside filter is on its way and is 25 dollar. Together with those filters the parts came to 55 dollar and I guess a total of 30 minute of work.
Well done BMW, lol.
We all need to make a living buy that should be considered “robbery”
Anyway, if you thinking about replacing those filters then go for it.
It’s not complicated and all you need is a screw driver to get one plastic river out that you can push back in once you are done.
Those filters here from MANN are the real deal and fit perfectly and state that they are made in Germany. I have no reason not to believe it.

Excellent Product
It works really well. I used it on quarter tank and drove about 6 miles then filled up with top tier gas and my MPG went up by 3 miles on Highway and about 2 MPG city driving. At first there may be slight hesitation as it clears carbon. Then runs smooth as silk.

So far so good
It seems to be working well, so far. The check engine light turned off and the my vehicle seems to be running well. Be sure to follow the instructions. A while back, I wasted some money on a different catalytic converter cleaner because I put the cleaner in on a full tank of gas. It's best to wait until you're at a half tank or less of gasoline before you put in your catalytic converter cleaner. Also, I drove around right after I put in the catalytic converter cleaner and before I filled up my tank again. A couple of days later, I went to the gas station and topped off my tank. Again, it seems to be running well for now.
