What is a tattoo pass?
A tattoo pass is permission from an artist to have their original artwork tattooed on your body.
Passes are a great option for folks that:
- Live far from my tattoo studio in LA
- Have a tattoo artist they trust, but want one of my designs
- Are interested in something outside my "stick and poke" tattoo style
- Are interested in a more affordable tattoo option
- Want to support multiple artists: the creator of the design and a tattoo artist
How do tattoo passes work with Grooveline?
Once purchased, the customer will receive the design, minus the watermark, as a black and white PNG file + a written permission sent via email.
Tattoo passes are considered single use, meaning that:
$50 = 1 pass for 1 person
$100 = 2 passes for 2 people, etc.
Tattoo passes may be gifted.
Tattoo passes provide permission for use of the art as a tattoo only. The artwork may not be used in any other manner including but not limited to prints, branding, logos, etc.

The artist you choose to trust with permanent body art is your decision. Do your research in order to make sure that the design you’ve purchased is within the artist’s skill and style. You are encouraged to ask beforehand if your artist is willing and comfortable tattooing another artist’s work.
I cannot guarantee and am in no way accountable for the final quality of the tattoo another artist is tattooing based on my design.
