Philodendron 'Shangri-La' 

A super compact version of the ever popular Philodendron, this freely branching plant features deeply divided, fresh green leaves on many stems.  This improved variety doesn't vine like many other Philodendron varieties do so it stays tighter and more dense looking. 

Philodendron Basic Care: Easy to Medium

  • Water: Can only go 1-2 weeks without water so check on it weekly and add water every time the top two inches of soil dry out.
  • Light: Thrives in medium to bright indirect light. Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent foliage scorching.
  • Soil/Drainage: This plant benefits from a chunky tropical houseplant mix. Adding orchid bark or perlite can improve drainage.
  • Temperature/Humidity: Prefers higher humidity but can adapt to average household humidity and temperatures.

The first sunscreen that worked for my skin
I usually avoid wearing sunscreen because most of the ones I’ve tried make me break out. I have acne-prone skin, so finding a sunscreen that doesn’t clog my pores or cause new blemishes has always been a challenge. After trying Good Molecules Moisturizing Rich Sunscreen SPF 30, I was pleasantly surprised. The formula feels moisturizing without being overly greasy, and it absorbs nicely into my skin. The SPF 30 mineral protection gives me peace of mind knowing I’m protecting my skin from sun damage without sacrificing my skin’s overall appearance and health. If you’ve struggled to find a sunscreen that won’t trigger breakouts, I definitely recommend giving this one a try. Overall, I’m very impressed with this sunscreen and will continue repurchasing it. It’s one of the few sunscreens I’ve found that provides good sun protection while being gentle on my acne-prone skin. Rating: 5/5 stars.
