The orange and yellow monster is captured, and the offending sock is removed and destroyed. Then he is shaved and showered. Poor monster. The peachy orange and sunny yellow of this design look as though they could have been spun from his fur. 

Yarn is pretty much the same as fur, right? You’ll love creating these monstrously delightful socks.

The pattern is a simple and unique mosaic pattern and uses only one color per round. The magic is achieved by slipping stitches and the occasional well-placed purl. You’ll find it easy to follow along and read your knitting.

Socks are worked toe-up with a short row heel.

Sizing and Gauge:
To fit a foot with the following measurements with approximately 1”/ 2.5 cm of negative ease:
Measure foot at the widest point
Small- 7.5”/19cm circumference
Med- 8.5”/ 22cm circumference
Large- 9.5”/ 24cm circumference
Extra-Large- 10.5”/ 27cm circumference

15 sts/ 24 rounds per 2”/ 5cm (pattern stitch unstretched)

Suggested Materials:
Two Colors- Yarn Over New York sock yarn (approx 200yd each color)

2 pairs of 2.25mm (US 1) at least 60cm/ 24”
or long circular needle for magic loop or set of 4 dpns if preferred
2 stitch markers (per sock)
Large eye needle (for weaving in ends)
