Philodendron Brasil is a cultivated variety of Philodendron hederaceum, native to the rainforests of Brazil and Colombia, where it naturally grows as an epiphyte, clinging to tree trunks beneath the canopy. This fast-growing climber can develop trailing or climbing stems that easily reach over a meter in length under favorable conditions, with heart-shaped leaves that can measure between 8 and 15 cm long.
