High End Style Without the Markup

I love the deep navy color of these shoes because it looks even richer in person than it does in the online photos. I usually wear a size 12 and these do have some extra room so could have gone down a half size. The white sole creates a nice contrast that makes the navy color pop. For me, these hit that perfect sweet spot where I look put together at work that is business casual without feeling like I am wearing stiff or formal dress shoes. These are comfortable shoes because the fabric is breathable and keeps my feet cool throughout the day. I especially like that the toe box bends naturally and does not leave ugly permanent creases across the top of the shoe. The padding around the ankle is soft and there is no rubbing even when I am walking a lot. My favorite part has to be the slight stretch around the opening because it lets me kick them off or slide them on without having to touch the laces. This is a total win for my lazy side and makes them my go to pair when I am headed out the door in a hurry. The stitching feels very durable and the overall build quality seems like it will hold up for a long time.

Comfortable fit for slip-in fabric shoes

My first experience with Marc Joseph. I typically purchase dress and casual work shoes from Florsheim and occasionally Rockport. These size 14 fit well with wide enough toe box. I've tried slip in shoes before and they just don't feel right. These somehow work and there is no heel slip. My only reservation is the high lip on the heel for slip-in and hope they dont catch pant hems. I gave 4 stars because I'll have to determine durability. Granted they are a light fabric shoe with a soft rubber tread. I'd like them to last for at least 6 months..and use them for business casual work wear during warm weather.
