Origin: Zamioculcas zamiifolia, also called ZZ plant, is native to tropical regions of East Africa, particularly Tanzania and Kenya.
Growth: Zamioculcas zamiifolia 'Supernova' is a slow to moderate grower, forming thick, upright stems that can reach up to 60 cm in height. Its fleshy, glossy leaves change from bright green to almost black, creating a striking visual effect.
Flowers: Rarely produces flowers in indoor cultivation. The flowers, when they appear, are small and spathe-like, but they are insignificant compared to the foliage.
Light: Prefers bright indirect light, but tolerates low light. Too much light can burn leaves, while too little light can stunt growth.
