Maybe you want to try cross stitch for the first time, would love to feel more confident in your stitching or are looking for an easy project to complete - this kit is designed to help you do all of those things! It uses full cross stitches and a combination of backstitch/longstitch to outline the design. These are all really simple stitches to execute using the step by step stitch guide to take you through the project using a range of photographs and written text. You can also find videos on the Kirsty Freeman Design YouTube channel, which will help you through the project. We love watching you fall in love with crafting, so if you need any extra tips, Kirsty is always happy to help where she can too if you have any extra questions!

When we first came across these beautiful pink plastic embroidery hoops, we knew we wanted to use them in our kits! The colour is so fun and makes a lovely change from traditional wooden hoops - they also have grooves inside the hoop which means they're great at gripping the fabric to keep it tight whilst you stitch. The thing that was most exciting is the tiny size of them! Sometimes, completing massive projects can feel daunting, so we wanted to design some smaller kits that you can see progressing quickly (it took Kirsty an hour to stitch this sample!). It can also sometimes be a struggle to know what to do with your finished designs. These hoops are so versatile, you can use them in so many practical ways, instead of just hanging them on your wall. You could: use them as a keyring, clip them onto your bag or backpack, or even attach them to presents to use as gift tags!

To make it really easy for you to get stuck in straight away, we have included all of the materials below:

• Full Instructions Including Colour Cross Stitch Charts (A5 size booklet)
• White 14 Count Aida Fabric
• 2” Pink Embroidery Hoop (Elbesee Mini Plastic Hoop)
• Stranded Cotton Threads
• White Organza Ribbon (for hanging your hoop) 
• Organic Cotton Bag (for storing your kit)
