Growing Notes

Morning glory seeds are protected by a tough coat. To ensure good germination, soak the seeds in water for 12 to 24 hours before sowing. Sow seed 1/4 inch deep, 8-10 inches apart; seedlings emerge in 7-10 days. Seed can also be fall planted; scatter dry seed when it is too cold to germinate and soil temperatures are below 45 degrees F; the seed will lay dormant through the winter.
