This exceptional hybrid was created by the legendary Rory Antolok, using his BVEP RA7 as the mother plant and Besseae aff as the pollen donor. Rory’s BVEP RA7 line is famous for its dark tone and refined structure, and when paired with Besseae aff, it produces a plant that develops increasingly darker foliage with each new emergent.
This particular plant was specially selected by Rory for its velvety texture, and he expects it to darken significantly as it matures. The oldest leaf shows minimal cosmetic damage from import, but the plant has since fully acclimated, and no further issues are expected.
A rare opportunity to own a hybrid directly from Rory Antolok, known for producing some of the most desirable Anthurium genetics in cultivation today.
