Forgiving of most types of conditions you have in your abode, from medium light to a little sunshine, they thrive where ever you got.  Long, green, skinny leaves are brightly banded in a twin greenish-yellow racing stripe down the center and grow in wild spiky poufs that look like wild bursts of fireworks. Bottom leaves will drop off revealing the grey stems and good bones. Taller plants can be very dramatic with canes stick-straight with those poufs. When a cane grows too darn tall for your spot, you can cut it right off lower and it will respond by sprouting 2 or more new little new canes for extra fullness and fun. With the right light at night they cast intriguing shadows on the living room walls.

• Water - Medium (3):  Water plant when dry. Plant does not like soil to always be moist, but doesn't like to stay dry once becomes dry. Water as soon as soil is dry.
• Light - Medium (3):   Plant prefers natural, diffused light. Can be placed in a spacious living room. Indirect light preferred. No direct sunlight on leaves.
• Difficulty - Low (1):  These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
