De Tillandsia Houston krijg een hele mooie fel roze bloemknop waar kleine witte bloemetjes uitkomen. (Zie foto) wanneer deze plant gaat bloeien weet je nooit van te voren.

Zodra de bloem uitgebloeid is, kan het zijn dat de moederplant doodgaat, dit gebeurd niet altijd, als je geluk hebt produceert ze wel een 'pup'. Een pup is een stekkie die aan de zijkant van de plant eruit komt groeien. Als deze 1/3 van de moederplant is dan kun je de pup voorzichtig eraf draaien. Natuurlijk kan je de pup(s) ook laten zitten en dan krijg je vanzelf een cluster.

21st century materials are here to save us! :) M Maelreg does a great job utilizing those materials to the best of their ability. I've really become a fan of just about anything that they make, and this shirt is no exception. It's made from the very popular 88/12 Poly/spandex blend that has become ubiquitous in the fitness/active industry because of its amazing tensile characteristics- wicking, quick dry, UPF, and extra comfy against the skin. You get all of that here and a no-frills, really beautiful color to go along with a fit that is exactly true to size. I took the more form-fitting version for my 5'10" 175 lb. frame (I've found both L and M work from these guys, M for a more tailored look) and it's exactly right- enough room to move around comfortably and breathe, not so tight that it's hugging my belly. It's super lightweight and really easy to launder (I hang dry mine to prevent pilling and wrinkles), cold/low and a medium/low heat iron to rid those stubborn factory wrinkles and you shouldn't ever need to iron it again. Another great offering from the folks at Maelreg.

Just like the big brands!

This hoodie is very good quality. I would say it compares to many of the Columbia or Northface type.
