Red Tatsoi is a red variant of the beloved cold-season favorite, tatsoi. Its beautiful, red leaves have a mild, mustard-like flavor and add interest to salads and stir-fries. Compared to traditional tatsoi, Red Tatsoi has a slightly more upright growth habit. We've also noticed that the flea beetles seem to like it a bit more, which is strange as red variants normally seem to be more insect resistant. Nevertheless, our Red Tatsoi was so beautiful that we decided it was well worth the added effort to keep pests at bay (insecticidal soap works well here). Approximately 50 days to maturity. Each packet contains a minimum of 250 seeds.
