Oxalis palmifrons is a winter grower which doesn't emerge until late fall when it is topped with stalks of light lavender pink flowers held just above the foliage. It remains evergreen all winter, finally going dormant when the heat of summer arrives. In colder climates, Oxalis palmifrons makes a great windowsill container plant.
