String of pearls love light! Provide them with as much light as you possibly can. This time of year you might consider putting them under a grow light. They hate the cold. Move them away from those windows! Sudden changes in temp can damage the delicate stems. Water often but they MUST dry out between waterings. We recommend potting in a shallow well draining container with an airy soil mix so you should be able to water relatively often but the soil dries properly between each application.

It doesn't slide around or come off or slide to the bottom of the sink. It just stays put which is so unique for anything with suction cups. The only reason i am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is quite small. I wish it were a few inches longer so i could easily fit two rags or sponges in the holder. But i have to jam them in and its not pretty. So for the price, i think it should have been bigger. Still a good product because of the functionality of the suction cups.

When I first received it and placed it on, it continued to fall so I almost returned it. However, I found a method online that worked and it has not fallen since even after all the water and soap getting near it. I’ve placed it on a stainless steel sink so not sure if the method works on other surfaces. Clean the area with soap and water and then make sure there’s no soap residue. Make the water temperature hot and “heat up” both the steel surface and the suction. While it’s still wet, firmly place the suction and make sure it doesn’t move. That should do the trick!
