New leaves emerge in warm copper-green tones before deepening to the rich dark green of maturity.

• Light: Bright but soft indirect light — the dense velvet surface is sensitive to direct sun which bleaches and damages the characteristic dark coloration.

• Soil: Chunky, well-draining aroid mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir; excellent drainage essential. Never waterlogged.
