| Monstera Adansonia is a rock star among houseplants, beloved on social media and in real life for its large, heart-shaped, hole-y leaves. Like Monstera deliciosa, Monstera Adansonia is commonly referred to as Swiss cheese plant because of the holes (perforations or fenestrations) in its leaves. Also called Swiss cheese vine, the smaller, more compact Monstera Adansonia develops leaf perforations sooner than Monstera deliciosa. The holes can represent up to 50 percent or so of a leaf. One theory for why these tropical forest dwellers "go hole-y" is that the openings enable light to more easily reach lower leaves. With its vining growth habit, Monstera Adansonia a wonderful hanging basket plant, adding living dimension to your home decor from above. Or from a plant shelf or stand. The plant can be trained to climb as well and is capable to spreading to as much as 8 feet in length. Provide plenty of bright, indirect light. Water so that soil is consistently, evenly moist but not soggy. Water again when the top inch or two of soil feels dry or nearly dry. You can feed the plant monthly during spring through fall with an all-purpose liquid houseplant food diluted by half. Monsteras like temps in the 65 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit range and humidity above 50 percent. You can increase humidity by using a humidifier or placing the monstera near other tropical foliage plants or in your kitchen or bathroom. A Huge Hit in My Bully Breed House!

I have a house full of bully breeds, and this hammerhead shark toy is by far one of their favorites.
I’ve actually bought a few of them so there are extras around the house — otherwise they’d all be fighting over the same one! That alone tells you how much they love it. The shape makes it easy for them to grab, chew, and toss around, and the squeaker keeps them interested without being obnoxiously loud.
What really impressed me is the durability. My dogs are serious chewers, and we’ve had these for a while now. They’re still going strong, which is saying a lot in this house. The combination of rubber and nylon seems to hold up really well to heavy chewing.
The bacon scent definitely helps keep their attention, and I like that I can add a little peanut butter for extra enrichment. It keeps them busy and off my furniture — always a win.
If you have strong chewers, especially bully breeds, this one is absolutely worth picking up. Durable, fun, and clearly dog-approved in this house.

Finally a Toy My Aggressive Chewer Can’t Destroy

My dog is an extremely aggressive chewer, and finding toys that last more than a few minutes has always been a challenge. Most toys are destroyed almost immediately, but this one has held up incredibly well. He chews on it constantly, and it still hasn’t been destroyed!

A Green Hard Plastic Sea Creature? Chew Toy
Color: Green, Pattern Name: Hammerhead Shark
This is a sturdy chew for my 40 lb retriever who is 9 months old. BUT after she has been chewing on it there are sharp edges which hurt my fingers when she wants me to throw it.
It is strong and she enjoys it, so she can continue as long as she wants but, If it cuts her tongue or mouth it’s gone.
