Product Information

• Application or Use: Pasture, Natural Habitat, Erosion Control, Cover Crop
• Germination Time: 14 - 21 days, under optimal conditions.  Allow 3-4 weeks for the unstratified seed to break dormancy and germinate, under optimal conditions.
• Growing Locations: Warm Season, Transition Zone, Cool Season
• Height: 2 - 4 feet
• Sunlight Requirements: 8+ hours, full sun for best results
• Advantages: Prefers moderately moist to wet soils.
• When to Plant: Recommended planting time is spring and summer when night time temperatures are consistently 65+ degrees. Dormant seeding can be done in winter and germinates very early the following spring when melting snow soaks it, warming temps and nourishing spring rains keep it growing and rooting.
