Red Banana Abyssian is fast-growing, so plant it in an area with a good amount of growing space.
Although this plant will grow banana-like fruit, it’s dry and not recommended for eating. Mature Banana Ensete ‘Maurelli’ will flower with white blooms, but younger plants don’t flower for 3 to 5 years. It’s also important to note that when planted in a container, Ethiopian Banana doesn’t flower either.
