Babyface’s Aloe Vera concentrated gel is the next best thing to having your own aloe vera plant at hand!

This wonderful gel is soothing and calming, and delightfully lacks all the fillers you find in drugstore aloe vera gels. A higher concentration of aloe means a more effective product and a better value.

Aloe Vera Uses & Benefits

Soothes Sunburn

Aloe vera gel contains compounds called polysaccharides that encourage skin repair and new skin cells to set up shop. It also contains a pain reliever called carboxypeptidase, which may be why aloe vera is so soothing.

Psoriasis

Also used in the treatment of psoriasis, aloe vera has been shown to help reduce redness and scaling associated with psoriasis.

Relieves Skin Irritations

Inflammation underlies many skin conditions, such as psoriasis, eczema, and lichen planus. Aloe vera gel contains compounds, such as acemannan, that suppress inflammation by showing the enzymes that trigger it who’s boss.

Aloe accelerates wound healing by promoting the proliferation and migration of fibroblasts and keratinocytes, therefore protecting the new cells from preservative-induced death.

Note: Make sure to do a patch test before putting it on inflamed skin, as aloe vera can cause allergic contact dermatitis in some people.

Adds Moisture

Because aloe vera gel is mostly water, it helps to hydrate the skin without that post-application greasy feeling.  It helps lock moisture into the skin, while also acting as a glue that makes the top layer of skin cells stick together, ultimately smoothing and softening your skin.

Fights Acne

Besides having serious antibacterial skills, aloe vera gel contains salicylic acid, which is an exfoliant that helps to unclog pores, making it especially helpful if you deal with pimples and blackheads. It has also been shown to reduce pores size.

Bonus: It also acts as an anti-inflammatory on the oil glands that cause acne, and helps heal acne-related wounds up to 2X faster.

Slows The Signs of Aging

Aloe stimulates fibroblast activity, which creates an uptick in collagen production and elastin fibers that make the skin less wrinkled and more elastic. Meanwhile, zinc acts as an astringent to tighten pores, and antioxidants, such as vitamins C and E, help prevent the formation of free radicals (aka, molecules that can do a number on your cells), as well as fade imperfections such as age spots.

Prevents (And Maybe Even Fade) Dark Spots

Aloe vera gel prevents tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for skin discoloration, from doing its thing, essentially suppressing UV-induced hyperpigmentation and the skin-damaging effects of sunburns. This mechanism may also help in the prevention of dark spots, while the various antioxidants it contains (such as glutathione peroxide) may fade sun damage that’s already formed.

Lightly Exfoliates

The salicylic acid aloe vera contains acts as an exfoliator, helping to gently slough off dead skin cells. It also contains lignin, a substance which can enhance the penetrative effect of other ingredients into the skin.

        Dandruff

Aloe has been shown to reduce inflammation, which can help people with dandruff symptoms, such as itchiness. Recent research in 2015 suggests that the anti-fungal and antibacterial properties of aloe vera may even help prevent dandruff in the first place. Aloe gel can be applied directly to the scalp for relief.

        Great for Sublimation!
I’m a bit new to sublimation and was worried about having dull colors, but this ink is doing wonders! The quality is great, I can adjust the amount on the printer and get the exact, rich, vibrant colors I want. (I found some recommended settings for brightness, contrast, etc… and then tweak the cyan, magenta, and yellow to the desired amount.) I definitely recommend getting this ink! It’s so easy to refill the printer (I have an Eco tank 15000). The cost is not bad at all. I’ve only washed some of the items one time and so far the ink has remained unchanged. Seems like a winner to me!

Vibrant colors, great traction on fabric, and easy cleanup
This sublimation ink has been a great find. The colors are vibrant and transfer beautifully to fabrics, mugs, and phone cases. The traction on the material is excellent—designs don’t smudge or fade easily after pressing. I also appreciate how clean it is to work with. Refilling my Epson EcoTank printer was simple, and there were no messy drips or stains. Cleanup of tools and surfaces was quick with just a damp cloth. For beginners or experienced crafters, this ink delivers consistent, professional-looking results every time.
