Mode of Action

2,4-D herbicides are called auxin-type herbicides. They kill plants by causing the cells in the tissues that carry water and nutrients to divide and grow without stopping.  An auxin herbicide mimics the natural plant hormone auxin and disrupt the plant’s normal growth processes. This causes excessive cell elongation and uncontrolled growth, ultimately leading to plant death. Auxin herbicides “over-stimulate” the plant’s growth mechanisms, causing abnormal development and tissue damage when applied at high concentrations.

Not for "chewers" or puppies.
The toy is not "ruff and tuff", at all. Puppy had it torn to bits in just a few minutes. Nothing like handing your dog the toy while you finish unloading groceries only to come back and it looks like it snowed stuffing in your living room. It's made of a very thin material and is quite flimsy. Won't be buying this brand again. Might be good for an older dog who just wants to carry it around or play fetch. Although it's so light and flimsy, throwing it any farther than a few yards probably wouldn't work...

Favorite Handy Toy
This snake has been around our house for years! My shitzu/maltease dog is tiny, and he has a small mouth, but I call him Diablo! He loves to growl and act like a horrible terror when it comes to fighting over a little squeaky toy, and we use the snake to try to "push" the little toy away from his mouth. He loves to bite the snake and pull on it viciously. The snake has tiny holes in it, but has pretty much stayed intact. I am getting ready to add more stuffing inside it so it won't be so floppy. years of use have flattened it out. I love this thing. Well worth the money for a small-mouthed dog. The squeaker in the head was fun while it lasted, but the beauty of this snake is its shape and versatility as a pull on, and sneak up behind toy.

80lb Dog Goes Wild Over This Pulpo
My dog goes wild over this toy. The key difference between this and other octopus chew and rip toys is that this has a head horn, crinkle legs, and a squeaker in every limb. It makes it so much fun to play with him. After he destroys the sounds, he parades it around for his victory show.
