God's Love, His grace & His mercies are truly amazing.

I love the reassuring title, God Never Gives up on You. I think this book is more about God than it is about Jacob. I particularly enjoy & appreciate Max Lucado's writing style especially when he interjects clever humor that aids in understanding his message. And his message is an especially encouraging one...God is not looking for opportunities to judge, chastise or punish His children. But rather, He wants to bless us, so He continues to give us grace that we can never earn nor deserve... And although Jacob's story makes it clear that God doesn't wink at sin, it also demonstrates what an awesome, loving & kind God we serve! Thanks, Max, for giving us such a beautiful, well-written glimpse into the character & love of God & His awesome grace

Amazing book and great reminder of Gods Grace and how we are no different than Jacob.
Format: Kindle
I LOVE reading books by Max Lucado and this was another great one. I love how he gives scripture throughout his books and examples of how we are no different than those of old who had the same troubles and trials. Gods Grace is there for me just as it was for Jacob and is for anyone else who believes and trusts in the Lord.

Great Book for Menโs Group
Format: Hardcover
Our menโs group was looking for a great book to for our mid-week Bible Study and were excited to learn that Max Lucado had this book. God Never Gives Up on You has been perfect. Each chapter is easy to read while providing depth in thought. The best part is that each chapter is only about 10pgs (which seems to be a great number for our group). Great questions for group discussion at the end of the book too!

Much Needed Message

Beyond the message, I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Jacob in the Book of Genesis. And I thoroughly enjoyed Pastor Max Lucadoโs take on the story, and how he made it come to life for me.
