More Like A Good Facial Moisturizer Than A Sunscreen

This tinted facial moisturizer really broke my expectations. I have to admit that I usually cannot stand most sunscreens. Also, I cannot stand most tinted facial moisturizers. In both aspects, this stuff really wowed me and absolutely surprised me. For one, I really don't get that much sun anymore due to certain lifestyle changes in my life, so I really don't have much need for sunscreens anymore. But there are the occasional times when one will come in handy. As far as tinted facial moisturizers go, they almost always look ridiculous on my somewhat fair #2 white woman's complexion, so I tend to avoid them. This one is only lightly tinted and is perfect for we fair skinned people. In fact, I really couldn't even see that it tinted my skin at all, though it made it look great. So don't go into this with the idea that it will take the place of your foundation, though it might because of how well it makes the skin look.
Having mature combination skin, I do need to keep up with moisturizing my face, but the combination side makes me more cautious as to how many emollients and other ingredients that I put on my face. This is definitely moisturizing, but it won't overdo it either. Just enough to condition the skin, as well as protect it while being exposed to the sun and other elements. Though I could tell that it was moisturizing my skin, it does not make it too oily nor greasy feeling. Just the teeniest bit of a helping of dew to keep your skin quenched throughout your day. If anything, my skin looked and felt well balanced all day long. In fact, I was surprised at how nicely it conditions the skin without adding too much dew to disturb the combination side of my skin. Does not irritate nor bother me in the least bit. No clogging of the pores and does not irritate my eyes. Doesn't have any of the typical sunscreen smell either. In fact, it doesn't feel or look like a sunscreen at all, yet it offers a full out SPF60 level.
Bonus points for selling for only $7.69 (today's price). Even better if you click on the coupon currently offered which allows you to buy it for $6.92 for a 1.23 fluid ounce can. This is really worth trying out for those looking for a decent facial sunscreen that is easy to wear and won't bother your complexion.
Note: though I cannot swear to this, even though it is a lightly tinted sunscreen, the color aspect strikes me as being thin enough that it will work just as well on those with much darker skin tones. It seems to be more translucent than color correcting. I don't know this for sure, so it would be nice if someone with darker tones could speak to this.

Love this tinted sunscreen

I am very pleased with this Tinted Sunscreen, Tinted Moisturizer with SPF. It applies very easy and smoothly. I have tried many different brands of this type that had tint and this is wonderful. It feels lightweight and does look cakey on my skin. The price point is good and I will be ordering more.

This is excellent

My dermatologist recommended that I use a tinted sunscreen for the summer when I’m outside. She even gave me a couple of sample packs. Those samples were very nice so I ordered some. I will say I was expecting a kind of Zinky smell and feel on my skin. But no, it’s got a very neutral nonexistent smell. And it applies beautifully. And looks nice all day. and the nice thing about it is if I have to go somewhere and all I need to do is just touch up my makeup with a little foundation it works, and I still have the sunscreen effect. Love this product. The price is great. And if you can keep my skin on my face from getting more basal cell carcinomas - well, I’m all for it because I don’t like having my face all scarred up when those carcinoma get removed. If your dermatologist recommends a tinted sunscreen. You won’t go wrong with this product.

The Absolute BEST!

Neutrogena Purescreen+ Mineral UV Tint Face Sunscreen is the absolute BEST! The price is right! It stood up to the hot Florida beach sun! The product is not harsh on the skin. It does NOT sting my eyes. It is not oily. It doesn't dry out my skin. There is no offensive odor. It is lightweight. It blends in easily. The tint is subtle. It doesn't cause acne! It is just the BEST! MY only "grievances" are that I wish the bottle was 2 oz, and that the bottle had a more controlled spout so that the release of the product wasn't sloppy / messy, AND I wish the bottle had a flip snap top for those with hand disabilities. Those perks would make for THE MOST PERFECT suncreen BUT those grievances are NOT a deal breaker. I just love this product!

It’s just OK

It’s a perfect match to my skin tone although the coverage is so light that I’m sure it doesn’t matter too much. It takes a minute to blend in like most other sunscreens. It’s not my favorite but it’s not the worst. I have oily acne prone skin and after using AI to research ingredients in SPF I went with this one bc it was less likely to break me out compared to others. It is pretty greasy and makes my face look more oily than dewy so I just use Paula’s choice shine stopper on my t zone and that handles that issue so that I don’t have to just throw this out. $20 for 1 oz is pretty steep I’d rather just get the Australian gold that has a more matte finish and is easier to blend
