The maxi length crushed red velvet is so rich. It features a gathered empire waist, with long tailored sleeves that come to a point at the cuff. It was reworked and modernized around the 1970s, with a zipper added in the back, making it easier to wear. Because of the empire waist, this can also be an incredible vintage

This romantic vintage red velvet dress was custom-made in the late 1930s (possibly early 1940s), and is entirely one-of-a-kind. The maxi-length crushed red velvet is so rich. It was reworked and modernized around the 1970s, with a zipper added in the back, making it easier to wear. Because of the empire waist, this can also be an incredible vintage maternity dress. Closes in the back with a zipper.

The Antique Victorian Heart Locket pictured is also available. 

Measurements: This will best fit a size X-Small, Small and possibly Medium; please refer to below measurements. It is smaller through the shoulders and chest, with more flexibility through the waist and hips.
Chest: 37"
Empire waist/underbust: about 29", gathering offers some forgiveness there
Hips are open up to 45"
Length: 53"


Good vintage condition overall; there were some repairs made to the fabric at the bottom skirt towards hem. I was looking for something similar for my Uplift Desk for a long time, and gave up until I built a new computer and had a reason to resume the search. In terms of possible areas of improvement, I'd love to see a tighter vertical fitment of the top bracket's sliding arm, and I'd love if there were more rubber anti-slip pads and spacers of different shapes and sizes included. I ended up double-stacking the anti-slip pads, using superglue to adhere them to each other, to give my PC more breathing room on its underside. I'd also love to have the option to select different sizes of base plates.
